Ohio Peace Officer Training Commission (OPOTC) 20 hour certification course requirement for Ohio licensed private security and private investigators to go armed with either a semi-automatic handgun or a revolver.

This OPOTC 20 hour pistol course teaches the most comprehensive firearms training that will not only satisfy the Ohio state requirements but will give you a foundation that will train you to protect lives and avoid violent encounters during your career in private security. You must attend both days in their entirety to receive your Ohio Peace Officers Training Certificate (OPOTC). We maintain small class sizes so that you receive an in-depth course with enhanced practical training. Our classes are for MEN and WOMEN.

Upon successful completion of this OPOTC course, students will receive an Ohio Peace Officers Training Commission certificate.

To be certified in both revolver and semi-auto the 20hr course must be taken for each gun. Cost – $175.00
